We continue to share stories about the cases from the Summer School of the “Intellect” Foundation. Oleg Barabash, a student at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (CMC) at MSU, together with his team, created a tool for quality control of medical documentation — a model that analyzes protocols, identifies errors, and helps specialists review documents faster and more accurately. In the interview, Oleg explains how the team went beyond the terms of reference (ToR) and turned an educational case into a potential tool for improving the business processes of the “Be Healthy” clinic network.

As part of the Intellect Foundation’s Summer School, VMK MSU student Ruslan Voit, together with his team, tackled a task for Ingosstrakh: they needed to optimize marketing campaigns, account for constraints, and find a solution that would help the company maximize profits under the given parameters. The winner of the Young Scientists Competition received a diploma for the best poster presentation at the XII National Crystallochemical Conference

Andrey Bykov, the winner of the 2024 Young Scientists Competition of the Intellect Foundation, a graduate student of the Chemical Faculty of Moscow State University, took part in the XII National Crystallochemical Conference, which was held at the Kola Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Apatity. The conference is considered one of the leading Russian forums in the field of crystal chemistry, and this year its program was expanded to include machine learning and in silico prediction of material properties.
