The Intellect Foundation's Summer School, an educational program for undergraduates, postgraduates, and young researchers dedicated to artificial intelligence and machine learning, is taking place from July 20 to 27.
This year, 37 people participated in the school. The program combines lectures by leading scientists and industry experts and work on practical cases. During the week, participants will explore AI tools through solving applied problems, share experiences with representatives of various fields of science, and develop design solutions for industrial customers.
Special attention in the program is paid to teamwork on cases. During the week, participants will have to analyze tasks from customers, formulate approaches to solutions, test hypotheses and present the results at the final presentation.
The summer school is aimed at developing the skills necessary for young researchers to work with modern technological challenges: data analysis, interdisciplinary interaction, project thinking and presentation of results. The program format allows participants not only to gain new knowledge, but also to apply it in conditions close to the real demands of the industry.
The first events of the school have already taken place: The participants got to know each other, took part in the official opening and started working on the program. Ahead there will be lectures, expert discussions, teamwork and protection of design solutions.
