Science in the 21st century is a complex social institution that operates according to rules and principles that are not always obvious from the outside. Typically, scientists learn these rules through trial and error as they progress along their career path. During the sessions, we will explore the soft skills and hard skills necessary for successful work in the natural sciences.
The goal of the course is to give students an understanding of how modern science functions and to highlight opportunities that may not be immediately visible to early‑career scientists.
